It’s been a little while since I’ve posted, but I know some of you are still checking. We went to Lodi for Christmas and had a wonderful time. Here’s Liam wearing his new cowboy hat. I plan to post a little more often in the coming days, playing Christmas catch-up like Rachel.

I haven’t posted here in a long time, have I? I’ve been posting nearly daily at www.shinnphoto.com/blog, but mostly photos. Sorry the meaningful content has been lacking. Anyone have anything they want to hear or read about in particular?
I got off work early Thursday and we took Liam and Clara on a picnic at the river. Here’s Liam enjoying his peanut butter sandwich for dinner!

I know you all come here to read the meaningful content (or see pictures of Liam), but I thought I’d pass on a tip that’s been really useful: dry your razors when you’re finished with them. Whether your shave your face, legs, or wherever, we can all benefit from better and longer-lasting razors. I’ve found that drying my razor when I’m finished shaving keeps it sharper and makes it last at least twice as long. This also means that you shouldn’t store your razors in the shower (ahem). I use a regular bath towel to dry my razor. Do you do this already? Leave a comment and let me know if it’s working for you. OR try it out and leave a comment with your razor-drying experiences.

Comments?  Thoughts?  Did the good guys win? Or the bad guys?  Anyone want to speculate on why there was a democratic landslide?  I heard Rush Limbaugh today saying that it’s because public schools make kids dumb and dumb people vote for democrats.  Does anyone else subscribe to any such simple and inflammatory sound-byte-ish notions that they’d care to share with us?
I walked outside with a client to take her picture and Liam really wanted me to take his picture, too. He doesn’t look too happy, but afterward he kept asking to have his picture taken. Silly boy.
