Our doctor’s appointment went well this afternoon. We found out the results of the Cystic Fibrosis test + blood work that was done on Monday at Children’s Hospital. The CF test came back negative, which we are thankful for. The blood work was in the normal range, so the doctor wasn’t worried about that either. It is now concluded that Liam is just small and gains weight slowly. I think he has his daddy to thank for that! Liam has gained 7 ounces since last week, so we are thrilled about that. We’ll keep offering yummy food and anticipate him being a healthy little toddler. Thank you for your love, support, and prayers through these last few weeks. We appreciate you!

We have been praying for Liam and so glad that the Lord has blessed you with this gift. It will take time and all of this will work itself to a positive conclusion. And yes, I?m sure he has his dad and Shinn uncles to thank for his stature and eating habits! They were skinny and long their entire babyhood and childhood, no rolls, no pudgy little cheeks to pinch just adorable little smiles!! So take heart?.. so good to hear about the tests?. We will continue to pray for your family.

So glad to hear!!! We have been waiting on pins and needles, even if you have not. Like mom says, take heart. This is coming from someone who was referred to in elementary school as ?the Ethiopian kid.? I?d say he has GOOD genetics on his side?

Andrew and Lisa: I know you will not believe this, but I was a skinny, skinny kid until I was 9 or 10. Also, Grandpa was a very, very skinny kid also, so Liam takes after both sides of his paternal heritage. And besides, with that precious smile and adorable ?please?, he is in contention for being the cutest, sweetest young man in the whole world. I was not aware that you were looking at the possibility of such ?dire? results to the blood test. No wonder our prayers were so important. We love you all and Praise God for the good results.
